A bill to amend 1980 PA 497, entitled “Construction lien act,” by amending sections 105 and 106 (MCL 570.1105 and 570.1106), section 105 as amended by 1982 PA 17 and section 106 as amended by 2018 PA 367.
House Bill No. 5542 amends the Michigan Construction Lien Act to explicitly include mobile homes as residential structures, thereby extending construction lien protections and obligations to improvements involving mobile homes.
