A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled “Natural resources and environmental protection act,” by amending section 30305 (MCL 324.30305), as amended by 2018 PA 631.
House Bills 5501 and 5502 would revise Michigan’s wetland laws by expanding mitigation options and funding tools while clarifying exemptions for agriculture and infrastructure and streamlining permitting with added state oversight.
