A bill to amend 1969 PA 306, entitled “Administrative procedures act of 1969,” (MCL 24.201 to 24.328) by adding section 110.
House Bills 5499 and 5500 would expand accountability in state permitting by allowing denied applicants to sue for damages and attorney fees and requiring agencies to cite the statutory basis for licensing decisions.
