A bill to amend 1998 PA 58, entitled “Michigan liquor control code of 1998,” by amending section 509 (MCL 436.1509), as amended by 2018 PA 37.
House Bill No. 5481 amends the Michigan Liquor Control Code to lower the population requirement for municipal civic centers or auditoriums to obtain liquor licenses outside of quota limits, thereby expanding eligibility to more communities.
