Senate Bills 622 and 623 modernize Michigan’s occupational safety and health framework by aligning state standards more closely with federal regulations, streamlining rule adoption, expanding employee protections against retaliation, extending complaint and review timelines, and strengthening enforcement to improve workplace safety and regulatory efficiency.
