A bill to amend 2022 PA 81, entitled “Michigan-Indiana state line remonumentation act,” by amending sections 7, 11, and 13 (MCL 54.317, 54.321, and 54.323); and to repeal acts and parts of acts.
Senate Bill No. 595 amends the Michigan-Indiana State Line Remonumentation Act to expand the commission’s authority, revise funding and procurement processes, and extend the act’s repeal date to 2030, thereby supporting continued and collaborative efforts to accurately survey and mark the state boundary.
