A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled “The revised school code,” (MCL 380.1 to 380.1852) by adding section 1179c.
Senate Bill No. 434 requires biennial seizure recognition and first aid training for school personnel, mandates seizure action plans and medication protocols for students with epilepsy, and provides legal protections for staff, thereby enhancing student health and safety in Michigan schools.
