A bill to amend 2018 PA 338, entitled “Earned sick time act,” by amending the title and sections 2 and 4 (MCL 408.962 and 408.964).
House Bill No. 5422 amends Michigan’s Earned Sick Time Act to expand the reasons for which employees can use sick time, broaden the definitions of family and covered crimes, and strengthen confidentiality and anti-retaliation protections for workers.
