A bill to prohibit certain elected officials from entering into certain nondisclosure agreements; to provide for the powers and duties of certain state and local governmental officers and entities; and to provide civil sanctions.
House Bill No. 5399 prohibits Michigan's elected local officials from entering into nondisclosure agreements regarding data center construction, imposes civil fines for violations, and renders such agreements void and unenforceable to promote transparency.
