A bill to prohibit certain state officers from obtaining employment with certain persons for a designated time after leaving public office; and to provide penalties.
House Bill No. 5245 prohibits state officers in Michigan from working for or providing paid services to entities they contracted with during their tenure for two years after leaving office, with violations subject to misdemeanor penalties.
