A bill to amend 1980 PA 299, entitled “Occupational code,” by amending section 2512d (MCL 339.2512d), as amended by 2016 PA 502.
House Bills 5227–5229 would modernize Michigan’s real estate laws by requiring written buyer-agency agreements with compensation disclosure, strengthening and clarifying agency duties and relationships, expanding consumer protections, and allowing limited-service arrangements, all contingent on related legislation.
