A bill to amend 2018 IL 1, entitled “Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act,” by amending sections 3, 8, and 11 (MCL 333.27953, 333.27958, and 333.27961), sections 3 and 8 as amended by 2023 PA 166.
House Bills 5134 and 5135 strengthen Michigan’s cannabis regulations by prohibiting billboard advertising, updating terminology and definitions, and enhancing operational, security, and public health standards for both recreational and medical cannabis establishments statewide.
