A bill to amend 2018 IL 1, entitled “Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act,” by amending section 7 (MCL 333.27957), as amended by 2023 PA 166.
Hb 5106 strengthens the Cannabis Regulatory Agency's authority to enforce marijuana regulations, including the power to summarily suspend licenses for public safety risks and to take disciplinary action even after a license has expired or an establishment has closed.
