A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled “Natural resources and environmental protection act,” by amending section 40103 (MCL 324.40103), as amended by 2016 PA 382, and by adding section 40110c.
House Bills 5067 and 5068 designate the sandhill crane and mourning dove as game species in Michigan and require the Department of Natural Resources to establish regulated hunting seasons for both birds by April 1, 2026.
