An act to prohibit the expenditure of state or local funds for the purpose of certain legal proceedings; and to provide for the powers and duties of certain state and local governmental officers and entities.
House Bill No. 4942 prohibits Michigan state and local governments from using public funds to support actions that would violate the state's constitutional protections of habeas corpus if the federal government suspends this right.
