A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled “Public health code,” by amending sections 17033, 17533, and 18033 (MCL 333.17033, 333.17533, and 333.18033), as amended by 1994 PA 234.
House Bill No. 4920 reduces the continuing education hours required for license renewal for Michigan physicians, osteopathic physicians, and podiatric physicians from 150 to 120 hours over three years, effective January 1, 2027, while maintaining requirements for pain and symptom management education.
