A bill to amend 1980 PA 299, entitled “Occupational code,” by amending section 2004 (MCL 339.2004), as amended by 2016 PA 435.
House Bills No. 4913, 4914, and 4916 update Michigan’s Occupational Code to modernize the regulation of architects, engineers, and surveyors by broadening licensure eligibility, allowing firms with nonlicensed principals to operate under state approval, and standardizing qualification and practice requirements across these professions.
