A bill to amend 2016 PA 407, entitled “Skilled trades regulation act,” by amending section 941 (MCL 339.5941) and by adding sections 928, 928a, and 928b.
House Bills No. 4897 and 4898 reform Michigan’s boiler regulations by creating new tiered licensing systems for installers and repairers, clarifying eligibility and permit requirements, and enhancing state oversight to improve safety and professional standards.
