A bill to amend 1980 PA 299, entitled “Occupational code,” by amending sections 303a and 411 (MCL 339.303a and 339.411), section 303a as amended by 2014 PA 265 and section 411 as amended by 2020 PA 388; and to repeal acts and parts of acts.
House Bills No. 4879 and 4880 reform Michigan’s professional and construction regulations by streamlining licensing procedures, repealing landscape architect licensing, and prohibiting contract clauses that unfairly require contractors to indemnify others beyond their own fault.
