A bill to amend 1965 PA 203, entitled “Michigan commission on law enforcement standards act,” by amending section 2 (MCL 28.602), as amended by 2021 PA 42.
House Bills 4834–4835 modernize Michigan’s legal framework by updating the Aeronautics Code to include drones and vertiports, revising funding and licensing structures, and enhancing safety and compliance measures for all aeronautical activities, and by updating and clarifying statutory definitions related to law enforcement officers and agencies, expanding roles covered under the law, and refining licensure requirements.
