A bill to amend 1921 PA 246, entitled “An act to regulate the service, rates, fares and charges of carriers by water within this state,” by amending section 1 (MCL 460.201), as amended by 2017 PA 240.
House Bill No. 4782 amends Michigan law to clarify regulatory procedures for water carrier rates and grants ferry companies greater autonomy in setting fares under municipal agreements unless explicitly restricted.
