A bill to amend 1931 PA 328, entitled “The Michigan penal code,” (MCL 750.1 to 750.568) by adding sections 89a and 322a; and to repeal acts and parts of acts.
House Bill No. 4671 expands Michigan's criminal code to treat the intentional injury or death of an unborn child as equivalent to harm against a born individual, while providing exemptions for certain medical procedures and miscarriages, and repeals a prior related statute.
