A bill to amend 1966 PA 346, entitled “State housing development authority act of 1966,” by amending sections 58 and 58b (MCL 125.1458 and 125.1458b), section 58 as amended by 2008 PA 216 and section 58b as amended by 2008 PA 244.
House Bills 4539 and 4540 expand the State Housing Development Authority's ability to fund a broader range of housing and community development activities for low- to middle-income households, updates eligible recipients and advisory processes, and is contingent on related legislation being enacted.
