Let 18-year-olds claim “Michigan Reconnect” scholarships

To reduce from age 25 to 18 the age of eligibility for state college assistance grants authorized by a 2020 law, dubbed the “Michigan Reconnect” program, which was proposed by. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer with the stated goal of “increasing the number of residents ages 25 to 64 with a college degree or skill certificate or credential to 60% by 2030”.
