2021 Senate Bill 703

Spend federal coronavirus relief money on recreation grants

Introduced in the Senate

Oct. 26, 2021

Introduced by Sen. Ed McBroom (R-38)

To appropriate $30 million of federal coronavirus epidemic relief and ‘stimulus’ dollars to a “grant program for infrastructure and events supporting Michigan recreation, sports, and tourism.” See also Senate Bill 556 and House Bill 5083, which have been introduced but have not advanced, which would create a permanent state account called the “northern Michigan tourism and sports fund,”.
