2021 Senate Bill 136

Revise pesticide notification law

Introduced in the Senate

Feb. 16, 2021

Introduced by Sen. Rick Outman (R-33)

To revise a law establishing a state registry of individuals who for medical reasons are required to be notified before the application of a lawn or ornamental pesticide, other than a general-use ready-to-use pesticide. The bill would add a provision allowing people without a medical condition to be put on the notification list but only if pesticide is used on or adjacent to the individual's property, and there here is a declared public health emergency that requires the pesticide application.
