To extend indefinitely for “local, nonlegislative governing bodies” the temporary permission granted by state laws enacted during the coronavirus epidemic to hold remote-only online meetings, subject to prescribed public notice and participation requirements. The public bodies affected include an appointed or “ex-officio” board, commission, committee, subcommittee, authority, or council, and not governing bodies elected at a general or special election.
