2021 House Bill 4514

Allow dogs in outdoor cafés

Introduced in the House

March 16, 2021

Introduced by Rep. Pamela Hornberger (R-32)

To revise a prohibition on restaurants allowing dogs in the dining area, so as to allow a restaurant to allow customers’ dogs in outside dining areas. Under current law only seeing-eye and other service dogs are allowed. The bill would prescribe regulations on this, and local governments could still choose to ban dogs.
