Modify expansive training mandates for mechanical contractors license

To revise a requirement that an individual must have three years of experience before he or she may take the written examination required to qualify for a “mechanical contractors” license, by adding “or 6,000 hours." Also, to allow a person who has completed the equivalent of a two year “HVAC program” at an approved trade school or college to get by instead with 2,000 hours of the 3 years or 6,000 hours required.
