2020 Senate Bill 1249

Permit student athletes to earn endorsement revenue

Introduced in the Senate

Dec. 3, 2020

Introduced by Sen. Adam Hollier (D-2)

To repeal a ban on sports agents contracting with student athletes. The bill can’t become law unless Senate Bill 660 does also, which would ban the NCAA or other organizations with authority over intercollegiate athletics from prohibiting student athletes from collecting endorsement income.
