Revise school expulsion and suspension procedures

To require public schools to hold a hearing no later than 10 days after a student is suspended for more than 10 days, expelled or given an “alternative placement” for more than 10 days. The bill specifies procedures, notice requirements and evidence standards. This is part of a package comprised of Senate Bills 1228 to 1230.
