2020 Senate Bill 1003

End limits on unemployment benefits

Introduced in the Senate

June 25, 2020

Introduced by Sen. Rosemary Bayer (D-12)

To some school workers to revise the portion of the state unemployment insurance law that specifies eligibility for certain low-wage school employees to collect unemployment benefits during the summer months. The bill is part of a legislative package that temporarily waives some limitations on benefits during the coronavirus epidemic, but this bill would delete these provisions altogether.
