Prescribe allowable ‘utility pole’ fees and right-of-way use for ‘5G’

To revise a 2018 law establishing a regulatory framework for installing small cell wireless phone and internet systems in public right of ways (“5G”). The bill would extend to county road commissions specific restrictions that were enacted on local governments, barring them from to prohibiting, regulating or charging for collocating small cell wireless facilities with their own facilities, plus capping allowable rates for this and more.
