Impose more fees on to ignition interlock device vendors

To permit the state to impose a nonrefundable, “reasonable” application fee of up to $3,000, plus administrative, renewal, and other fees, for certifications and inspections of vendors that provide drunk driver ignition interlock devices and related services. The bill also bars a person convicted of an alcohol-related driving offense or any felony in the past five years from being a vendor.
