2020 House Bill 6106

Ban governor’s use of “regions” not counties to designate epidemic risk levels

Introduced in the House

Aug. 17, 2020

Introduced by Rep. Michele Hoitenga (R-102)

To require that if a governor declares a state of emergency and issues orders that treat different parts of the state differently, they must be specific to each county or group of counties, rather than apply to ad hoc “regions”.
