To replace language related to marriage in a number of state laws with new language that uses gender neutral terms. This bill amends a “uniform child-custody jurisdiction and enforcement act”. It is part of a legislative package comprised of House Bills 6045 to 6098, which are linked to House Joint Resolution T, which would repeal the state constitution’s recognition of marriage as only between one man and woman adopted by voters in 2004.
