To require the state office of office of retirement services to produce a report on how much is paid by school districts to supposedly “retired” teachers who are also collecting a school pension, and the impact this has on efforts to diminish the persistent underfunding of this system for many years. See also House Bill 5497, which would tighten up the rules on this practice, and which must pass for this bill to become law.
