To repeal the December, 2018 law that amended an “initiated” law the legislature had enacted in September of that year to impose a paid sick leave mandate on private employers. The revisions included reducing the mandate to one hour of leave for every 35 hours worked at larger firms, and removing a provision imposing extensive record keeping requirements on employers including a legal presumption that not having particular records is proof that an employer violated the underlying law.
