Revise requirements for deficit spending by school districts

To repeal a requirement that the state superintendent of public instruction and the state treasurer must present in-person quarterly reports on overspending school districts to the legislature. The bill would also revise details of the form and distribution of reports public schools are required to submit if they spend more than the amount revenue they bring in each year, called a “deficit”.
