Expand transit agency police powers

To establish that transit agency police are “law enforcement officer” with the same powers, training and licensure requirements as regular police. Also, to specify that this applies to the Detroit streetcar service too. The bill would also clarify that this streetcar operation has the same authority to remove vehicles blocking its path as police have with cars blocking the road.
