2019 House Bill 5081

Introduced in the House

Oct. 8, 2019

Introduced by Rep. Ben Frederick (R-85)

To appropriate $350,000 for a pilot program to train at least 60 social service providers on models of intervention for autism. This money was in the 2019-20 fiscal year budget approved by the legislature in late September of 2019, but was removed by one of 147 line-item vetoes executed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, which struck $947 million from proposed spending.
