Introduced in the House

May 9, 2018

Introduced by Rep. Leslie Love (D-10)

To impose licensure on the managers of “adult entertainment businesses” as defined by the bill, and on individuals who “provide live adult entertainment in an adult entertainment business.” The bill would create a state “adult entertainment business entertainer and manager board” comprised of a majority of such individuals. House Bill 5975 proposes imposing a $150 application fee and a $100 annual license fee on these individuals. House Bill 5978 would impose a tax of $3 per customer.
