To revise a law that makes it a crime for certain health care professionals, social workers, school employees and a growing list of other professionals to fail to report suspected child abuse. The bill would require the state Department of Health and Human Services to develop a “thorough and comprehensive training package” to give them, and require their employers to give it to them.
