Repeal “training wage” for youth

To repeal a “training” wage provided as an exception to the law that makes employment for less than a minimum wage determined by the government illegal. Under current law, during a young worker’s first 90 days on the job the mandated minimum wage is $4.25 per hour, and after 90 days it is 85 percent of the minimum amount prescribed for adult workers.
