To move into a separate statute the comprehensive regulatory regime imposed on “mixed martial arts” by a 2004 law that codified regulations on these competitions, boxing matches and other “unarmed combat” competitions. House Bill 4220 would consolidate these “mixed martial arts” regulations into a separate section of the current law.
