To place before voters in the next general election a constitutional amendment that would limit annual legislative sessions to 90 days. This appears to be the 21st part-time legislature proposal introduced since 2001 (when MichiganVotes began tracking legislation). None has ever been brought to a vote in either the House or Senate, where a two-thirds vote would be required. The measure would also limit legislators' salaries and benefits.
