Revise electric car battery maker subsidy detail

To revise the a provision related to the firms who are the beneficiaries of state electric car battery subsidies. The bill would specify that the financing for the deal may come from tax-exempt federal “recovery zone facility” bonds or from conventional financing. Reportedly this applies to the<a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2009-SB-777">$100 million subsidy</a> for the "Xtreme Power" and "Clairvoyant Energy" corporation joint venture at the fomer Ford Wixom assembly plant.
