The executive recommendation for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2010-2011 Department of Labor and Economic Growth. This would appropriate $1.496 billion in gross spending, compared to $1.424 billion, which was the FY 2009-2010 amount enrolled in 2009. Of this, $45.4 million will come from the general fund (funded by actual state tax revenues), compared to the FY 2009-2010 amount of $55.1 million. $1.008 billion is from federal funds, and another $407.3 million is from state “restricted funds,” or earmarked tax and fee revenue, compared to $400.2 million the previous year.
