To give the state Tax Commission the authority to divide a land parcel into two or more parcels in order to accurately reflect the classification of the property for tax assessment purposes. Also, to allow the commission to hold evidentiary hearings on good faith disputes on assessments, and authorize appeals of its rulings to the state Tax Tribunal.
