Reverse school budget “20j” money line item veto

To appropriate $54 million in so-called “Section 20(j)” money for the Fiscal Year 2009-2010 K-12 School Aid Budget, which would be granted to 51 particular school districts that tend to be wealthier ones, with some exceptions. The money was line-item vetoed by Gov. Jennifer from the budget passed by the legislature on Oct. 8, 2009.
